Cathy Macbeth Counselling in Skelmersdale

About Me. Bird on hand

How can I help you?

Imagine if you could find a way to move forward, see a brighter future, and find yourself feeling happy again, even when it feels like your life as it was has vanished.

I can help you:

  • to cope with loneliness
  • to let go of anger or guilt
  • to feel more positive about your future
  • to live happily again despite your loss
  • to be able to trust again

When you feel overwhelmed by sadness it can feel impossible to think about 'moving forward ' - especially when you just wish that things were as they were - so I want to help you to climb out of that difficult place and show you that there is hope and life after loss.

I'm Cathy and I have experienced several painful losses myself, and I understand how important it is to get the right support in order to move forward with your life, as I did. I know that any change can seem daunting, or even impossible, so I’ll support you through a difficult time, and help you to cope with the many emotions, situations, and challenges which have been caused by events beyond your control. Ultimately I can help you to have the strength to move forward and enjoy living again.

“Counselling has helped me to acknowledge the loss of my parents and the gap that created in my life. It was a really positive experience and has helped me grow as an individual. Cathy has been an inspiration and has made a big difference to my life – thank you.” P, Upholland
